The Oppo Find X10 series could be heading to India soon, with two expected models reportedly appearing on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification database. The listing has added weight to speculation that Oppo may bring at least the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max to the Indian market after their expected China debut.
The upcoming lineup is expected to include three models – the Find X10, Find X10 Pro and Find X10 Pro Max. This would mark an expansion over the Find X9 series, which initially consisted of two models.
Oppo has not yet officially confirmed the launch schedule for either China or India, so the reported specifications and availability should be treated as unconfirmed for now.
Listing
According to tipster Anvinraj Valiyathara (@ZionsAnvin) on X, two Oppo smartphones have appeared in India’s BIS database with model numbers CPH2911 and CPH2913.
The tipster claims that these numbers correspond to the Oppo Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max, respectively.
A BIS certification is generally an important step for devices intended for the Indian market. However, the listing does not confirm a launch date, price or the complete specifications of either smartphone.
Oppo has also yet to officially announce the Find X10 series for India. As a result, the certification listing provides an indication of possible availability rather than a confirmed launch announcement.
Launch
The Find X10 series is expected to debut in China this month. If the reported timeline is accurate, the appearance of two models on the Indian certification database could indicate that preparations for an Indian launch are already underway.
The expected lineup is reportedly broader than the previous generation, with the Find X10, Find X10 Pro and Find X10 Pro Max potentially making up the range.
It remains unclear whether all three models will eventually be sold in India. Certification information currently points to the standard Find X10 and the Pro Max, but Oppo could provide more details closer to the official launch.
Hardware
The Oppo Find X10 is expected to use the unannounced MediaTek Dimensity 9600 chipset.
The Find X10 Pro Max, meanwhile, is reportedly being developed with a higher-end MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor. Both chips are expected to be part of MediaTek’s next-generation flagship platform, although their final specifications and performance remain unconfirmed.
The standard Find X10 could also feature an 8,000mAh battery, according to recent leaks. If accurate, that would give the phone a particularly large battery capacity for a flagship smartphone.
Cameras
Camera hardware could be one of the major areas of improvement on the Find X10.
The phone is reportedly being developed with two 200-megapixel rear cameras, alongside a telephoto camera. If these specifications are accurate, the configuration would represent a significant change from its predecessor.
However, megapixel counts alone do not determine camera performance. Image processing, sensor size, lenses and software will also influence the final photography experience.
The Find X10 is also expected to feature a BT.2020 ultrawide colour gaming display, which could be aimed at users who prioritize colour reproduction and gaming.
Design
The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max has also appeared in leaked renders.
The images reportedly show the smartphone in blue and white finishes. The device is expected to have a flat rear panel with a square-shaped camera module positioned in the upper-left corner.
The Pro Max is also tipped to feature a triple rear camera setup.
While leaked renders can provide an early indication of a product’s design, they should not be considered final until Oppo officially reveals the phone.
India
The reported BIS listings are currently the strongest indication that at least two Find X10 models could be prepared for the Indian market.
However, certification does not by itself establish the retail launch date or pricing. Oppo could also change the specifications or market availability before the official announcement.
For Indian buyers, the more significant details will be the final configuration, launch price and whether the Find X10 Pro is also introduced alongside the standard and Pro Max models.
The reported expansion to three models could give Oppo more flexibility in competing across the premium smartphone segment.
Outlook
The Oppo Find X10 series is shaping up to be an important upcoming flagship range, with reports pointing to large batteries, high-resolution cameras and new MediaTek chipsets.
The appearance of the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max on the BIS database suggests that an Indian launch may be in preparation, although Oppo has not confirmed it yet.
For now, the reported 8,000mAh battery, dual 200-megapixel camera setup, Dimensity 9600-series processors and Pro Max design remain based on leaks. More reliable information should emerge once Oppo officially announces the Find X10 series and reveals its launch plans for China and India.
