Mivi is preparing to enter India’s smartphone market with its first handset, the Mivi One 5G. The company has confirmed that the phone will debut next week and has started revealing details ahead of the launch. The latest teasers focus on its camera setup and after-sales support, giving potential buyers a clearer picture of what to expect.
The Mivi One 5G will be sold exclusively through Flipkart and will arrive in three colour options. It will also run Android 16 and use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G chipset.
Camera
Mivi has confirmed that the One 5G will feature a dual-camera system on the rear. The main camera will use a 50-megapixel sensor, while details about the secondary camera have not yet been disclosed.
The company has shared these specifications through teasers on X, suggesting that more information could be revealed as the launch date approaches. For now, the 50-megapixel primary sensor is the key camera specification confirmed for the phone.
Care+
Alongside the camera details, Mivi has introduced its Mivi Care+ after-sales support programme for the One 5G. The company says the package will include a complimentary one-year standard warranty.
Mivi is also promising a seven-day replacement policy for the handset. This could be particularly relevant for buyers considering the company’s first smartphone, as after-sales support is an important part of the ownership experience.
Service
Mivi says customers will have access to more than 500 authorised service hubs across India. The company is also offering doorstep pickup and return delivery for the One 5G in more than 19,000 PIN codes.
The service experience can reportedly be tracked digitally through a dedicated Mivi Care+ mobile application. This gives users a way to monitor their service requests without relying entirely on physical service-centre visits.
Launch
The Mivi One 5G is scheduled to launch in India on September 24. The smartphone will be available exclusively through Flipkart, where a dedicated product landing page is already live.
The phone will be offered in Burgundy, Blue and Green colour options. Mivi has also confirmed that Android 16 will be available out of the box.
Chipset
The upcoming smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 5G chipset. However, Mivi has not yet revealed the exact Snapdragon processor that will power the device.
