All petrol-powered Ertiga variants, regardless of whether they are equipped with a manual or automatic transmission, have received a uniform Rs 5,000 increase.
The CNG versions have become Rs 7,500 more expensive. The CNG powertrain is available on the VXi and ZXi variants and is paired exclusively with a five-speed manual transmission.

History
This is not the first Ertiga price revision in the current financial year.
In June, Maruti Suzuki increased prices by Rs 5,000 across the petrol range. At the same time, the CNG variants received a Rs 10,000 increase.
With the latest revision added to the June hike, petrol variants have become Rs 10,000 more expensive since April. CNG variants, meanwhile, have seen their prices rise by a combined Rs 17,500 during the same period.

Variants
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is offered in four main trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi Plus.
The petrol powertrain is available with both five-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission options, depending on the variant. This gives buyers a choice between a conventional manual setup and an automatic option for easier driving in urban conditions.
The CNG version is more limited in terms of configuration. It is offered in VXi and ZXi trims and comes exclusively with a five-speed manual gearbox.

Engine
The Ertiga uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine in both fuel configurations.

The CNG version uses the same 1.5-litre engine but produces lower output when running on CNG. It develops 87bhp and 121.5Nm and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission.
