Lamborghini has introduced the Urus SE Tettonero Capsule, a limited edition version of its hybrid super SUV, expanding the brand’s focus on personalisation and electrified performance.
Revealed at the 2026 Milano Design Week, this model is limited to 630 units globally and represents one of the most exclusive iterations of the Urus lineup.
The Tettonero Capsule combines a distinct design theme with a wide range of customisation options, while retaining the hybrid performance setup of the standard Urus SE.
Design
The Urus SE Tettonero Capsule is defined by a black-focused exterior theme. The term “Tettonero” refers to the gloss black roof, which serves as a central visual element and is complemented by black exterior accents across the body.
Customers can choose from six primary exterior colours, including Viola Pasifae, Verde Mercurius, Bianco Leda, Arancio Dryope, Giallo Quercus, and Verde Viper. These colours are designed to contrast with the black roof and detailing, creating a layered visual effect.
Additional elements such as brake callipers, wheel finishes, and trim accents can be specified in either matching or contrasting colours. This approach allows buyers to create a personalised appearance without altering the core design identity of the vehicle.
Cabin
Inside, the cabin follows a similarly focused theme, with Nero Ade serving as the base interior colour. This black interior is paired with multiple accent options that extend across stitching, trim inserts, and other detailing elements.
Buyers can select from six accent tones, including Viola Acutus, Bianco Leda, Giallo Quercus, Arancio Dryope, Verde Viper, and Grigio Octans. These interior accents can be coordinated with the exterior colour scheme, allowing for a cohesive design approach.
Lamborghini states that the available combinations result in more than 70 possible configurations. This level of flexibility positions the Tettonero Capsule as one of the most customisable variants within the Urus range.
Powertrain
Mechanically, the Urus SE Tettonero Capsule retains the hybrid powertrain introduced in the standard Urus SE. It is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery.
The hybrid system includes a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor mounted ahead of the eight-speed automatic transmission. This motor can either assist the internal combustion engine or independently deliver power to the rear wheels, enabling an electric All Wheel Drive configuration.
The combined system output stands at 789 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque. According to Lamborghini, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and reach 200 kmph in 11.4 seconds. The top speed is rated at 312 kmph.
In electric-only mode, the Urus SE offers a range of approximately 60 kilometres, with a maximum speed of 135 kmph. This allows for short-distance urban driving without engaging the internal combustion engine.
Performance
The integration of hybrid technology in the Urus SE Tettonero Capsule is aimed at improving both performance and efficiency. The electric motor provides immediate torque, enhancing acceleration, while also enabling smoother power delivery during low-speed driving.
At the same time, the V8 engine maintains the high-performance characteristics expected from Lamborghini. The combination of these systems results in a vehicle that balances traditional performance with modern electrification.
Exclusivity
The Urus SE Tettonero Capsule is limited to 630 units worldwide. This number references Lamborghini’s founding year of 1963 and reinforces the exclusivity of the model.
The vehicle is offered through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam programme and Centro Stile design division. Buyers can customise various aspects of the vehicle, including exterior finishes, wheel sizes, interior materials such as leather and microfiber, embossed details, and carbon fibre elements.
This level of personalisation ensures that each unit can be tailored to individual preferences, making every vehicle distinct within the limited production run.
Positioning
The Urus SE Tettonero Capsule is positioned as a collector-focused model within the Lamborghini portfolio.
It combines hybrid performance with a high degree of visual and material customisation, appealing to buyers seeking both exclusivity and individuality.
By integrating design flexibility with advanced powertrain technology, Lamborghini continues to expand the appeal of the Urus platform to a broader audience, while maintaining its performance-oriented identity.
The Lamborghini Urus SE Tettonero Capsule reflects the brand’s ongoing shift toward electrification while preserving its emphasis on design and performance.
With limited production, extensive customisation options, and a hybrid powertrain, it represents a distinctive offering in the luxury performance SUV segment.
