Land Rover has introduced a special edition of the Range Rover Sport in India to mark 20 years of the nameplate. Called the Range Rover Sport TWENTY Edition, the model is priced at Rs. 1.90 crore and brings exclusive styling details, performance-focused equipment and a powerful V8 engine.
Based on the Range Rover Sport Autobiography, the special edition combines luxury-focused features with technology and hardware borrowed from the high-performance SV range. It also gets distinctive exterior and interior elements created specifically for the anniversary model.
Design
The TWENTY Edition draws inspiration from the original Range Stormer concept and the Vesuvius Orange First Edition Range Rover Sport.
One of its most distinctive paint options is Sanguinello Orange, an ultra-metallic finish designed to give the SUV a stronger visual presence. Buyers can also choose more understated Santorini Black and Ostuni White exterior colours.
A black exterior pack is available for those who prefer a darker appearance. The package gives the SUV a more restrained look while retaining the special-edition details.
The model also features exclusive TWENTY badging and etching, along with 23-inch Gloss Sparkle Silver alloy wheels. Gloss Black wheels are available as an alternative.
Interior
Inside, the anniversary edition gets several details that distinguish it from the regular Range Rover Sport.
Illuminated TWENTY treadplates and TWENTY scripting on the centre console reinforce the limited-edition theme. The cabin uses Ebony Windsor seats derived from the performance-oriented Range Rover Sport SV.
These seats have a sculpted design aimed at providing additional support while retaining the premium character expected from a Range Rover. Their design takes inspiration from motorsport, combining lightweight construction with ergonomic support.
Forged carbon veneers and a black suede cloth headlining add to the darker, performance-oriented character of the cabin.
Features
The Range Rover Sport TWENTY Edition is based on the Autobiography variant and retains several advanced chassis and driving systems.
The equipment includes an electronic active differential with torque vectoring by braking, all-wheel steering and Terrain Response programs. It also gets dynamic air suspension, which helps balance ride comfort with the SUV’s performance capabilities.
